Episode 13 Last Of The Timelords

Last Of The Timelords was The Last Episode Of Series 3 and it finished in the usual finale fashion. The story continues one year on from The Master starting to take control of earth where now Earth is fully conquered by our Lord and Master. Meanwhile stories travel that only Martha Jones can defeat the Master. Also in this jam-packed tale we learn the truth about the Toclafaine and why they will make the Doctors hearts break. The Toclafaine are in fact the humans that the Doctor helped rescue in the first part of this 3 part epic which the Master went back to the future to change them. As the story continues we eventually realise that Martha has not travelled the world to get the parts for a weapon to kill The Master she has in fact travelled to tell a story about one fantastic man named The Doctor which eventually contributes to The Masters terrible end. At the dying end we learn that Captain Jack Harkness was once called The Face Of Boe which leads suspicions that he is in fact The Face Of Boe we know and love and this would explain why Boe knows theres another Time Lord. This story also see's the end for now to the amazing Martha Jones who has travelled with The Doctor all the way through Series 3. Overall i would give this episode a 10/10.

They Think Its All Over, It Is Now

Well Wolfy's that's it, the final episode has just aired and although we all loved watching Last Of The Timelords it was unfortunately the last episode of series 3. Also the news posted earlier in this post seems to be true as Martha Jones (Freema Agyeman) has left The Doctor for now but she still wants to be in contact with him. The next episode in store for us is called Voyage Of The Damned and will be aired on Christmas Day 2007. Although not much is known about this episode it will apparently feature Kylie Minogue and thanks to the end of Last Of The Timelords it will surely be on board or involve the Titanic. Could this possibly mean a return for the 9th Doctor played by Christopher Ecclestone? As you will surely remember in the episode Rose there was a picture shown of the 9th Doctor on the harbour of the Titanic.

Chilling Quote

While st scanning with my newly acquired Doctor Who Magazine 384 i came across a quote which will be said in tonight's episode Last Of the Timelords. This quote is to be said by The Master and it is a look back on The Doctor's life. The quote can be found below.

I can remember the days when the famous Doctor, he was waging a Time War, battling Sea Devils, and Axons, he sealed the Rift at the Medusa Cascada, single-handed. And look at him now! How did he ever come to this? Oh yes! Me!

Timelord Trailers

With The Last Of The Timelords airing in just under a day its not surprising that their has been alot of clips released today in preparation for the last episode of series 3. A clip was shown on the morning TV show GMTV as well as their being one shown on the children's TV show Totally Doctor Who. These two clips can be watched below.

8 More Minutes Of Heaven

As you may know this Saturdays episode of Doctor Who, Last Of The Timelords, will be the last episode of series 3. However this episode will be a little bit special because not only does it feature David Tennant, Freema Agyeman, John Barrowman and John Simm it also is to be a extra eight minutes longer than the normal weekly episodes. That means instead of the episode being 43 minutes long it will be 51 minutes long instead. This however will be the last we see of this years Doctor Who until Christmas Day.
