Geoffrey Palmer Joins The Crew

According to the Sun daily newspaper, actor Geoffrey Palmer has been signed up to guest star in the Christmas Special Voyage Of the Damned. Geoffrey Palmer is best known for his roles in the comedy series As Time Goes By and Butterflies. The report goes on to say that he will play the Captain of the Titanic, although of course it is unclear whether this character is based on the real Captain of the liner, Edward Smith. Once again this is yet to be confirmed by the BBC so do not be alarmed if it proves not to be true.
