This is Bad Wolf PR's 409th post to date and I'm afraid to say it is its last because this site is to be closed down. The reason is basically because of the lack of time i have to run this blog or any blogs anymore. Bad Wolf PR was founded on the 13th February 2007 when i had a mad idea of starting a Doctor Who Blog which would update you on the latest Doctor Who News. During the early days i was often informed with news by Mark who now runs a brilliant blog called Tardis And Torchwood Treasures. As times went on i met a person called Rob who has helped with news and features for this blog which has been most helpful. Rob runs many blogs including Life On Mars.TV and Ashes To Ashes.TV. As for me i will still be around and about as i will continue to make Music Videos which can all be found on my You Tube Channel Here as well as chatting to anyone who wishes to speak to me. So i guess now its goodbye for me and blogging but could i thank every single visitor to this site and helper you've all been absolutely fantastic.

The covers for the three Doctor Who BBC Books, due for release on the 14th April 2008, have now been revealed. The titles of these three books are Martha In The Mirror, Snowglobe 7 and The Many Hands. The covers and a short description of each book can be seen below.

The Doctor and Martha arrive in Snowglobe 7 in the Middle East, hoping for peace and relaxation. But they soon discover that it’s not only ice and snow that has been preserved beneath the Dome. While Martha struggles to help with an infection sweeping through the holidaymakers the Doctor discovers an alien threat that has lain hidden since the last ice age. A threat that is starting to thaw.

Eye Of The Gorgon Overnight Ratings

Some Unofficial overnight ratings for the two episodes of The Sarah Jane Advenutes have now been posted by The Doctor Who Site. Eye Of The Gorgon Part 1 which was shown on BBC 1 at 5.00pm last night was watched by 1.1 million people with a 10.1% share of the total audience. Eye Of The Gorgon Part 2, which was also on last night but shown on the CBBC Channel at 5.30pm, was watched by 0.24 million people with a 15.3% share of the total audience. Eye Of The Gorgon Part 2 will be repeated next Monday on BBC 1 where it is expected to receive a higher audience.

Series 4 Rumours

The Daily Star today has reported upon a major end-of-season showdown for the Doctor and companions versus an old adversary. This report also ties together some other rumours that have been around recently about Series 4 of Doctor Who. This rumour can be seen by highlighting below but of course at the moment this is just a rumour and it is not true until the BBC confirms it.

DOCTOR Who bosses are set to call back FOUR of the Time Lord’s favourite assistants – including Billie Piper – for a sensational showdown. The old cast members will be reunited to help the Doc fight evil Dalek creator Davros in an explosive finale to the next series.Leading the way in the line-up will be Billie (Piper) as Rose Tyler along with the rest of the Tyler family; they will hook up with the Tardis traveller’s latest assistants Martha Jones and Donna Noble. Also on hand to help out the Doc will be his old companion Sarah Jane Smith as well as Torchwood boss Captain Jack Harkness. Even the Time Lord’s dog K-9 will make an appearance. The TV source said: "This is the daddy of all shows. The writer Russell T Davies really wants to pull out all the stops for the finale next year."

Third Dimension: the Unauthorized Guide to Doctor Who 2007

Telos Publishing has now released the cover for the book Third Dimension: the Unauthorized Guide to Doctor Who 2007 by Stephen James Walker. This book will be available as a Hardback along with a Paperback edition. This book is expected to be released in November.

'The book has been, as usual, complex to prepare,' said Telos' David J Howe. Calling The Shots Signings

Graeme Harper who has directed both new and classic Doctor Who is soon to be making two in store appearances this weekend to sign copies of his latest book called Calling the Shots. This book is partly a production, part memoir, and also brings a unique insight into the making of the episodes Rise of the Cybermen, The Age of Steel, Army of Ghosts, Doomsday, 42 and Utopia. This book is published by Reynolds & Hearn and is priced at £14.99. This book also includes previously unseen photographs.

Doctor Who Movie Rumours

Rumours are currently going around the media about a New Doctor Who Movie. Billie Piper has also been rumoured to return as Rose Tyler for the movie. A Source apparently told the Daily Star "It's all been hushed up ... but yes, it's definitely happening, David and Billie were a superb combination on the small screen, so it seems only right that they appear in the film." These reports are coming out after a statement made by BBC Head of Fiction Jane Tranter who recently told Media Guardian that she is keeping the possibility of a Doctor Who film open as quoted as saying "I would not rule out a film version of Doctor Who, no." Of course this is just a rumour at the moment but Bad Wolf PR will report further on this issue when we can.

Last Monday saw yet again two different Sarah Jane Adventures episodes air. The episodes shown were Revenge Of The Slitheen Part 2 which was shown on BBC 1 at 5.00pm and Eye Of The Gorgon Part 1 which was shown on the CBBC Channel at 5.30pm. In both of these episodes a Next Time Trailer was shown one for The Eye Of The Gorgon Part 1 and one for The Eye Of The Gorgon Part 2. These particular trailers can be seen below.

As its our 400th Post Ive actually held off until now posting this. The latest Doctor Who Magazine cover has now been released by Doctor Who Magazine's Facebook group. The latest issue will feature a exclusive interview with Elisabeth Sladen who plays Sarah Jane Smith in the Doctor Who spin-off The Sarah Jane Adventures. There is also a celebration for K9 and his 30th birthday. The cover also says about the Sontarens which of course as posted earlier on Bad Wolf PR will be returning to Doctor Who for Series 4. Sontarans Return

Christopher Ryan is set to appear in Series 4 of Doctor Who. He is best known for playing the character Mike in the classic comedy series The Young Ones. Christopher is actually set to appear as a Sontaran leader which is due to be filming in the next few weeks.

"I'm absolutely delighted to be appearing in this new Doctor Who," Chris revealed. "The last time I appeared in Doctor Who was in 1986, Colin Baker was the Doctor and I was still a Young One."

If you did not know already the Sontarans are a famous monster from the classic series of Doctor Who. They first appeared in the episode The Time Warrior which ironically was Sarah Jane Smiths first story who was played by Elizabeth Sladen. Also last night if you were lucky enough to see Eye Of The Gorgon Part 1 on the CBBC channel the Sontarans were also mentioned.

The BBC has now commisioned two new Sarah Jane Adventures Audio Books. These storys are set for release on the 5th November priced at £5.99 each. These two storys are called The Glittering Storm and The Thirteenth Stone and are to be read by Elizabeth Sladen. Here is what the Official Doctor Who Website had to say:

Revenge Of The Slitheen Review

Revenge Of The Slitheen see's the first series of The Sarah Jane Adventures finally kick off. We begin with Maria and Luke starting their new school though not is all as it seems. The food is moldy, the teachers keep farting and theirs a strange smell of batteries in the new I.T building. This of course means only one thing, the Slitheen are back who were last seen in Series 1 of Doctor Who. As Maria and Luke set off to investigate the new I.T building they are joined by Clyde Langer. At the climax of part 1 we see Maria and Clyde trapped in a room a Child of the Slitheen who proves certainly to be in the mood for a hunt in part 2. In part 2 we find out that The Slitheen are to switch off The Sun but not if Sarah and the gang can help it. The story eventually ends in a Luke destroying the Slitheens machine and forcing some of the family to escape. Some of the family however are not so lucky and are killed. Overall i would give this episode a 8/10 as i thought the story was brilliant as was the Slitheen child and the Slitheen family. I also thought the performance of Thomas Knight, who plays Luke Smith, was fantastic.

For nine days Bad Wolf PR asked viewers to decide Who Is Your Favourite Actor To Have Played The Master? After 28 votes the winner was the latest incarnation himself John Simm. John got 17 votes and 60% of the overall votes. In second place was Derek Jacobi with 4 votes and 14%.In third place was Roger Delgado and Anthony Ainley with 3 votes and 10%. Inside The Series 3 Box-Set

Thanks to Amazon.co.uk we can now see what the series 3 box-sets will look like inside. The normal box-set will include discs with The Doctor (David Tennant), The Master (John Simm), Dalek Sec, Martha Jones (Freema Agyeman) and Captain Jack Harkness (John Barrowman) on them. The Amazon Series 3 inside is very similar apart from the leaflet that comes with it has The Doctor And Martha on instead of The Doctor and The Master. The two insides can be seen below.

K9 And Company DVD Release

The Classic Doctor Who Spin-Off is due for release in 2008 but no exact release date has been announced yet. This spin-off was called K9 And Company which only released one episode which was its pilot called A Girl's Best Friend. Here is what Phoenix Film and Television Production Ltd had to say:

Phoenix Film and Television have been commissioned to produce several special feature documentaries for classic Doctor Who releases plus the long awaited "K9 and Company" all for DVD release later this year and early next year respectively. The content of the extras must remain under wraps for the moment but Phoenix will be producing 9 documentaries in total spanning several releases throughout 2007 and 2008. "It is a very exciting project!" explains Phoenix head of Production Rohan Latchman, "It's an opportunity to really delve into such a classic TV classic and try and come up with something different." "The new show is so high end and full of spectacular special effects, but classic Doctor Who offered all in involved so many challenges on a weekly basis to keep the show fresh and inventive and I'm really looking forward to being involved in such an exciting project!".

The Doctor And Donna In Rome

The Official Doctor Who Website has released information regarding series 4 episode of Doctor Who. The Doctor and new companion Donna are set to travel backwards in time to the Roman Empire. The Doctor (David Tennant) and Donna (Catherine Tate) are set to arrive in Pompeii in AD 79 just before the historic eruption of Mount Vesuvius. The two are then posed with a dilemma should they warn the residents of Pompeii of the forthcoming catastrophe or leave them to fend for themselves?

"Arriving in Pompeii marks the start of another exciting adventure for the Doctor and Donna," said Doctor Who's Executive Producer and Head Writer, Russell T Davies. "Donna is stunned to find herself in the midst of history's most famous volcanic eruption. Viewers can expect many more ambitious storylines and a whole host of guest stars in 2008."

Peter Capaldi is to guest star as Caecillius. He's joined by Quadrophenia and Rose and Maloney actor Phil Davis as Lucius. Also guest starring will be Tracey Childs, who plays Metella. The filming of the episode took place at Cinecitta studios in Rome, which the Doctor Who team expertly transformed into Pompeii for a week of filming in September of this year.

The Sarah Jane Adventures Begins

Today see's the Doctor Who Spin-Off, The Sarah Jane Adventures, finally begin its first series. Tonight's episode is called Revenge Of The Slitheen. The first part of this episode will be shown on BBC 1 at 5.00pm followed by part two at 5.30pm on the CBBC channel. If you do not however have the CBBC Channel you can see part two next week on BBC 1 at 5.00pm whereas lucky CBBC viewers will next week at 5.30pm get to see the first part of the episode The Eye Of Gorgon. However some of you may be thinking now i don't have the CBBC Channel so therefore any reviews before the BBC 1 airing will spoil it for me. Because of this i have decided to hold off all reviews until both parts have been shown on BBC 1 so no one gets spoiled. Anyway Smithies or Wolfies, or whatever you wish to be called, enjoy The Sarah Jane Adventures tonight at 5.00pm on BBC 1 Don't Miss It.

Invasion Of The Bane Review

Invasion Of The Bane begins with us hearing Sarah Jane explaining that Life On Earth can be a adventure too. The story continues with numerous commercials of the famous Bubble Shock, a drink which has tooken the world by storm, that Sarah Jane has become fascinated by. Sarah becomes so fascinated by this company that she is almost oblivious to the arrival of her new neighbour, Maria, a young girl who ironically as become intrigued by the strange goings on inside her new neighbours house. Before Maria can learn more about Sarah Jane Smith she is pulled away to the Bubble Shock Factory by new friend Kelsey. As the two are tooken on a tour around the factory Sarah Jane is trying to find out about Mrs Wormwood. Whilst inside Kelsey finds herself looking up at a alien like creature meanwhile Maria finds herself running away with a strange boy with no name or past life. Maria and the boy then meet up with Sarah Jane which then leads them to discover the secret ingredient of Bubble Shock with Sarah's quick mind and the boys long memory they eventually destroy the Bane and destroy Bubble Shock once and for all. Overall i would give this a 7/10 as it saw a great return of Sarah Jane Smith and there was some great acting off the characters of Maria and newly named Luke.

Invasion Of The Bane is the pilot episode of The Sarah Jane series which see's Sarah Jane investigating the drink Bubble Shock which is addictive and is taking the world by storm. Not so long ago Bad Wolf PR reported that Amazon.co.uk will be releasing their own special addition Doctor Who Series 3 Box-set which features a lenticular cover of The Master played by John Simm. Well now Woolworth's are also to release their own special addition Series 3 box-set. The Woolworth's exclusive will have an acetate slipcase and will feature The Doctor (David Tennant) and Martha Jones (Freema Agyeman) on the front cover through the eyes of a Dalek. The cover for Doctor Who Magazine 387 has been released. This issue will feature a interview will new companion Dona Noble played By Catherine Tate. Catherine had this to say:

"When I was asked to do it, I genuinely couldn't believe they'd asked me," she told the mag. "I was having lunch with Julie Gardner and it was the last thing I thought we were going to have a conversation about. She said it, and I nearly... well, I... even now, I just can't believe it. I'm speechless."

Catherine also revealed that she is not up to date with Doctor Who mythology yet:

"This is how un-into-it I was before: I didn't know that there was more than one kind of alien; I just thought it was always the Daleks."

Radio Times - Russell T. Davies interview regarding The Sarah Jane Adventures BBC Magazines Trade Release

It was the likes of 70s children’s dramas Children of the Stones (supernatural goings-on in an English village) and The Tomorrow People (ordinary teenagers developing superpowers) that inspired a young Russell T Davies to become a television scriptwriter. "I loved the sort of dramas that were set in this world, but had an otherworldliness to them," he says. "They had all this possibility that there were fantastic forces at work beneath the ordinariness of the world. How marvellous!" When he became a writer, working on ITV’s groundbreaking Children’s Ward and creating Dark Season (a proto-Buffy the Vampire Slayer children’s drama) for the BBC in the 90s, Davies’s fascination with children’s TV continued. "From my time on Children’s Ward, I learnt an enormous amount from [its creators] Paul Abbott and Kay Mellor. It dealt with tough issues such as rape and anorexia, but it also did stories for younger viewers exquisitely." Despite his success on such shows, Davies knew that his heart wasn’t in children’s drama. "It wasn’t my natural audience. The committed practitioners of children’s TV are passionate about talking to six-year-olds – like Anne Wood who created In the Night Garden. But I wasn’t. I was slipping jokes about Emily Brontë into Breakfast Serials – a programme I used to do on Saturday mornings – and I realised then I was writing for hungover students and it was time for me to depart." But now, after hits such as Queer as Folk (1999), Bob and Rose (2001) plus, of course, the reinvention of Doctor Who, Davies has returned to CBBC as executive producer of the ten-part Who spin-off The Sarah Jane Adventures. The series, which follows a successful pilot at New Year, features former companion Elisabeth Sladen as Sarah Jane, her adopted teen son Luke, neighbour Maria and their new friend Clyde. But 21st-century kids’ TV is a vastly different landscape from the one Davies left. "I fancied the challenge of writing something for children based on Doctor Who at the same time as CBBC were keen on something. There was talk of the adventures of the young Doctor on Gallifrey, but I said absolutely not. When we brought back Sarah for [2006 Who episode] School Reunion, she worked wonderfully and the idea blossomed from there. I think it’s important to make children’s drama as strong as any other sort, but it’s changed a lot. Now, children’s TV is for kids between six and 12, so the more adult stuff has migrated to the likes of Hollyoaks. With The Sarah Jane Adventures, I had to be aware of the audience being young. You have to monitor yourself not to be paternalistic or not to write in a strand of romance, but to keep it aimed squarely at that audience." With the presence of aliens with sinister plans, does "strong" equal "scary"? "I wouldn’t want children to be left in a state of dread. Fear is fine, but I do have a problem with terror." So what of the state of children’s TV today? Does he feel, as author Philip Pullman does, that a lot of it is "social poison" with children treated as marketing opportunities? "It’s a profound mistake just to look at the toy on the shelf and ignore the programme, which has got to be good in the first place for kids to watch. "And just because something’s American and there are 22 episodes, people assume it’s rubbish. That’s So Raven, for example, is a decent little sitcom and very well acted. And the main character isn’t stick-thin, so that’s magnificent, too. High School Musical could have been so much cleverer, but with the likes of Disney investing so much money in children’s TV, I do feel optimistic about its future."

Eliazbeth Sladen Interview

Elizabeth Sladen, star of The Sarah Jane Adventures, recently spoke to The Daily Telegraph newspaper about her role in her new series. She tells journalist Simon Swift: "I did that episode, School Reunion, and I thought what a lovely end for my character... Then, as Torchwood was coming out, I got a call saying Russell [T Davies - Doctor Who's executive producer] would like to take me out for lunch to talk about something else. I thought, 'I'm going to be in Torchwood.' And he said: 'We want to do a series called The Sarah Jane Adventures.' I absolutely didn't see it coming." She then goes on to say that had the spin-off project gone to any other former companion she would have been annoyed.

"I would be p***** off to my socks. I would have said, 'Well, they know what they're doing,' but I would have secretly thought, 'Oh, what a mistake they've made'."

The Sarah Jane Adventures airs on Monday 24th Spetember at 5.00pm on the CBBC Channel so dont miss it.

With the Doctor Who spin-off, The Sarah Jane Adventures, starting in 8 days time its no surprise that some lucky people have manged to see the first couple of episodes before us. Well once again that is the case as Graham Kibble-White has been lucky enough to see it and he has reviewed it on the Off The Telly website. In his review he does not say one bad word about the Doctor Who spin-off and he just keeps praising the first story describing the 25 minute long episodes as "old school who" and he describes the new character Clyde as "lots of fun". The Royal Shakespeare Company have recently released their official press release for their 2008 Artistic Programme. Hamlet will see the return of David Tennant to the RSC in the title role. Time To Compare With A Time Lord

The Anglican Church which was used to film the story Father's Day is to invite its congregation to a special Doctor Who themed church service This service will compare The Time Lord with The Lord of Time. This service will include music and video clips from the hit series and will be held at St Paul's Church in Grangetown, Cardiff. The youth officer for the Diocese (Dean Atkins) was quoted as saying:

"The figure of Doctor Who is somebody who comes to save the world, almost a Messiah figure. In the series there are lots of references to salvation and the Doctor being almost immortal. We are using the figure of Doctor Who as a parable of Christ."

Series 5 Of Doctor Who has now been confirmed by the BBC Website. The official site also states that Series 5 will in fact not air in 2009 but in 2010. However that does not mean a two year gap between 2008 and 2010 because in 2009 their will be three specials starring David Tennant. Here is what the Official BBC Website had to say:

After months of media speculation, the BBC can confirm that the BAFTA award-winning Doctor Who will return for a fifth series in Spring 2010.Viewers are in for a treat this Christmas, as a special episode starring David Tennant and Kylie Minogue will be broadcast on BBC One in December 2007. Series Four, which went into production in July 2007, will hit UK screens in Spring 2008, followed by a special episode for Christmas 2008. In 2009 Doctor Who will return with three specials starring David Tennant, with Head Writer, Russell T Davies. The results of this years 2007 Hugo Awards have been announced at Nippon 2007, the 65th World Science Fiction Convention which is situated in Yokohama, Japan. The Hugo for Best Dramatic Presentation, Short Form went to the Doctor Who Series 2 story The Girl in the Fireplace which was written by Steven Moffat. This is Moffat's second Hugo he's won as he won one last year with his story The Empty Child / The Doctor Dances. The other nominees in this category included Russell T Davies' two part story The Army of Ghosts / Doomsday. Also up for nomination was Toby Whithouse' story School Reunion.

Bad Wolf PR has now officially reached its 350th Post. Once again thank you to everyone who has taken their time to visit this blog. I've decided to hold of the celebration until the 400th Post where I have some exciting things to post. Thank You once again and here's some news for you.

The Friday Night Project which is a show on Channel 4 has included a question which furthers a casting rumour for series 4 of Doctor Who. One of the questions was, "Which rockstar is set to appear in Doctor Who?", and the answer to this particular question was David Bowie. This follows a week of rumours thinking David Bowie is set to appear in series 4 of Doctor Who however these have all been denied by representatives for Bowie.

In other news last night saw the Blackpool Lights being turned on by David Tennant. His appearance assured that he joined a list of stars to have launched the lights including the fourth Doctor, Tom Baker, who illuminated the town as Doctor Who back in 1975. Fans of Doctor Who are also in for a real treat as Illuminations bosses are soon to unveil plans for a new display featuring characters and creatures from forthcoming episodes.

Love's Labour's Lost Needs A Doctor

The Royal Shakespeare Company have announced their 2008 line-up. In this line it states that David Tennant (The 10th Doctor) will feature in two roles. From July 24th until November 15th 2008, David Tennant will star in Hamlet in the title role alongside Patrick Stewart playing Claudius. Also from October 2nd until November 15th 2008, David will be playing Berowne in Love's Labour's Lost. A story which happened to be a major plot point in the Series 3 episode The Shakespeare Code. However these plays do seem to be taking place whilst Doctor Who Series 5 would be filming so the future of Doctor Who is still unknown.

The UK Newspaper The Sun recently released a article that the singer David Bowie would be guest starring in Doctor Who Series 4 as an 'evil alien abductor'. This is what the Official David Bowie Website had to say:

Indeed it will surprise many of his fans, as the whole story is as much news to them as it is to him. David Bowie is not planning to star in Dr Who and the whole story is "absolute tish and tosh".

This is in fact The Suns 5th story that has been proved to not be true. So i advise the guys over at the Sun to get proper news and not make it up.

Isolus Fact File

Dalek World Record Attempt Successful

Doctor Who fans world-wide have exterminated their way into the record books for the largest number of Daleks (or people wearing Dalek costumes) in one place. There were loads of different shapes and different coloured Daleks in attendance to attempt this record. Also in attendance was Raymond Cusick (Dalek Designer). The original figure to be broken was 50 Daleks and the Manchester Museum of Science and Industry managed to cough up a staggering 68 Daleks so well done to all that attended. The Museum of Science and Industry is also currently home to the Doctor Who Up-Close Exhibition. The exhibition includes several characters from the latest series three of the Doctor Who such as the Judoon and the Carrionites. It also holds, in the exhibition, a four metre-long Empress of Racnoss character, the eight-feet tall Slitheen, Clockwork Robots, ‘Sisters of Plenitude’, ancient Face of Boe and many, many more. Doctor Who Wins Programme Of The Year

Doctor Who has won Programme Of The Year at this years Edinburgh TV Festival. The winner for this was chosen by 200 young people who were invited to the festival as a way showcasing the next generation of TV talent. Phil Collinson (Doctor Who Producer) paid tribute to them young people by saying to receive the award "from young people coming into this industry is a particular honour". As well as praising these young people he also praised the BBC by saying without it "Doctor Who would never be made, would never be so good and would never be so well supported". The other nominees for the terrestrial channel award were BBC Two, ITV1, Channel 4 and Five.

Davros Box Set Confirmed

The website Play.com has listed the story Planet Of Evil which was shown in 1975 for a release date of the 15th October 2007. Tom Baker appeared in this story as the fourth doctor as did Elizabeth Sladen. As well as this DVD release the 1979 Tom Baker story Destiny Of The Daleks is also set to be released. Their will be extras which include Davros Connections and the Prime Computer adverts recorded by Tom Baker. Also according to Play.com this DVD will be released on the 26th November 2007. Also this episode will be available on a eight disc Davros box-set which will feature every Davros episode so far.

Casting Rumours

PR-Inside.com has recently released a story which includes possible spoilers for future series' of Doctor Who. Of course this is just a rumour at the moment so do not be surprised if it proves to not be true. To see this possible spoiler please highlight the text below.

The next actor to play the character of The Doctor in Doctor Who has apparently been found. Harry Lloyd who played the character of Baines in the episodes Human Nature and The Family Of Blood apparently impressed Russell T Davies. When the current Doctor leaves the series which will apparently be in two years time (2009) Davis is convinced he has found a ready made replacement. He says, "After his audition I sent a note to the casting director saying, 'He's not just good for Baines, that's the next Doctor, Seriously, He's so brilliant." Harry also plays Will Scarlett in the series Robin Hood.

Faulty Doctor Who Annual

David Stays For Series 4

Thanks to David Tennant.com we can now confirm that David Tennant, who has played The Doctor in Series 2 and 3, will be officially playing The Doctor all the way through Series 4. In the latest issue of Doctor Who Magazine Russell T Davies says, after being asked if the constant tabloid rumours that David would be quitting the show halfway through the next series were true, "No, he's doing the whole series. It was never even discussed that he might leave after six episodes. That's completely invented by the papers." So David is to stay at least to the end of Series 4. This is of course brilliant news for fans of Davids Doctor.

The Inifinite Quest DVD Leaflet

Anyway on with the news, as reported a few weeks back, the Doctor Who Animated episode, The Infinite Quest, is soon to be released on DVD on the 5th November. Although a full view cover has not been released on the Internet, inside the recently released Doctor Who Series 3 Volume 4 DVD there is a leaflet containing information on The Infinite Quest DVD and also its cover. Doctor Who Annual 2008

The Doctor Who Annual 2008 (Cover can be seen above) has been recalled to its publisher, Penguin. It has been recalled due to a spelling mistake on the front cover which hadn't been noticed till they went out to the shops. Some people managed to get their hands on the Annual before it was recalled.

Here is The Sun's Article;

Thousands of Doctor Who books have been pulped because of a spelling mistake on the front cover.Publishers Penguin had sent the 2008 annual featuring current Doctor David Tennant to shops before the error was spotted.But a red-faced insider, who refused to reveal the gaffe, said: “It’s embarrassing. The books are cherished so the publishers decided to recall them.”

The cover is lenticular and when you move it the Tardis dematerialises and rematerialises.

Hopefully they are back in the shops soon. I will be getting my copy when they are sent back to the shops, corrected of their spelling mistake.

Doctor Who Children In Need 2007?

In 2005, we saw a mini Doctor Who Children In Need episode where we saw Rose question The 10th Doctor, leading them crash landing into London on Christmas Day. In 2006, last year, a special Doctor Who Concert took place in the Millennium Centre, Cardiff. This Concert was called Doctor Who A Celebration, it celebrated Murray Gold’s incidental music that features in Doctor Who. This year according to the Sun we will see the 10th Doctor meet with the 5th Doctor, so this is why Sylvester McCoy said Peter was filming for Doctor Who, he will be in the Children In Need mini episode. If this is true that probably rules out the possibility of him appearing in Series Four, posted earlier here and here. Here is The Sun’s Article; Doctor Who legend Peter Davison is to step back into the Tardis – and come face to face with the current Doctor. Peter, 56, who played the Timelord in the 1980s, will pull on his famous trenchcoat once again for a Children In Need special. Bosses are tight-lipped about the storyline, written by Who scribe Stephen Moffat. But an insider revealed: “The Doctor is forever travelling though time so there’s no reason why he couldn't catch up with a former incarnation. “Peter was top of the writer’s list to make a comeback." This year’s Children In Need charity telethon takes place on BBC1 on Friday, November 16.

Interesting, this will be a great Children In Need Special, hopefully its raises more money for Children In Need too. Two Doctors, One Story?

Sylvester McCoy, the actor of the 7th Doctor is quoted as saying; “Peter Davison is due to return for Series 4 in a Multi-Doctor episode” This means that the 5th Doctor and 10th Doctor might meet, maybe other past reincarnations of The Doctor might be in the episode too.This is not confirmed but it is really fascinating, if this does come true I’m sure it would make a very interesting story. Sylvester was quoted as saying this when he was at the Day with the Doctor event in New Zealand. Different Incarnations of The Doctor have previously all met with each other in classic stories, they were “The Three Doctors” (1972) “The Five Doctors” (1983) and “The Two Doctors” (1985) I think it would be a really great story if this was to be shown on television. However please note this has not been confirmed by the BBC and is classified as a rumour at this moment in time. This Villain is rumoured to be the Rani. The News of The World are reporting this, there has been no official confirmation by the BBC as of yet, so this is only a rumour at this moment in time. Here is an extract from The News of the World Article; "The Doctor Who team are delighted they've managed to sign Joan. It's a real coup. She's perfect for the role... like Alexis Colby with a sonic screwdriver." Last year The Sun reported rumours that Zoe Lucker would play the Rani, but that was just a rumour and never actually happened. Kate O Mara was the actress who played The Rani in the classic series. The Rani has previously appeared in episodes; “The Mark of the Rani” and “Time and the Rani”, also appearing in a Children In Need mini episode “Dimensions In Time”. The latest news has been released about Sarah Jane Adventures by the BBC Press Office. The Press release states that Sarah Jane Adventures will encounter some familiar villains from Doctor Who. Rumours were about a while ago suggesting the Slitheen would be in one episode of the series, maybe this is the familiar Doctor Who Villain stated in the Press Release.

Here is the Press Release; Other highlights premiering on CBBC this autumn include The Sarah Jane Adventures. Created by multi-award winning Doctor Who writer Russell T Davies and starring Elisabeth Sladen as one of The Doctor's most famous former companions, investigative journalist Sarah Jane Smith, expect to bump into some familiar alien enemies from Doctor Who.

Pig Slaves Fact File

The Pig Slaves are a experiment on humans created by The Cult Of Skaro who have been changed so they take orders from the Daleks. Pig Slaves have a low level of intelligence and were told in the episodes Daleks In Manhattan and Evolution Of The Daleks to take people from the sewers of Manhattan for the Daleks to experiment on in the basement of the Empire State Building. The Pigs Slaves only live for a couple of weeks as they have a limited lifespan. A character in the episodes called Laszlo is kidnapped from a Broadway theatre to be turned into a pig slave. However while the Daleks were turning him in to a pig slave he manages to escape with his mind still as it was but this left his appearance half-pig half-man. Laszlo left a single white rose for Tallulah in her dressing room each night before her performance as he did in his human form. Laszlo is also able to resist the Daleks unlike the other mutants. The Pig Slaves are extremely aggressive creatures and according to Laszlo, capable of slitting a throat with their bare teeth.

Tetraps Fact File

The Tetraps are a bat like race that originate from the planet Tetrapyriarbus. A pack of these Tetraps were employed by The Rani to help defend her giant brain in the episode Time And The Rani which happened to be the Sevenths Doctors debut story. The Rani then armed the pack of Tetraps and used them as general henchmen to terrorise the native Lakertyans.

The Tetraps have four eyes, one on each side of their head which allows them to see in all directions. Like bats do, the Tetraps sleep upside down in a cavern. To feed the Lakertyan leader releases a dark red-coloured sludge down a chute into a trough.

Tetraps are not the most cleverest of creatures but they soon realise that The Rani's plans would have them all killed on Lakertya. They find this out when their leader, Urak, hears of her plans and she later leaves him to guard over her laboratory rather than take him with her in her Tardis (leaving him to die). Urak and the rest of the Tetraps, enraged, capture the Rani in her ship and take her back to their home planet, to force her to solve their natural resource shortages.

The Return Of The Rani?

Yesterday on the Anthony Cotton Show, Kate O'Mara, who played The Rani in the classic series of Doctor Who, was interviewed by Anthony Cotton. In this interview Kate talked about her role as The Rani in classic Doctor Who as well as what it was like to force the Sixth Doctor to regenerate. She also said, after being asked whether she would Like To Return To Doctor Who?, Yes i would love to! She said that new Doctor Who needs The Rani back and that she would be able to deal with David Tennant's Doctor easily. So Russell are you listening? Kate wants to return as The Rani, we want a return of The Rani, So please bring The Rani back.

Davros Box Set?

The British Board of Film Classification have recently revealed details on their website for the upcoming release of 1979 story Destiny of the Daleks. This story introduces Lalla Ward into the role of Romana. There is no release date or special feature information at this time but rumour has it this release will be part of a forthcoming Davros box-set, but the BBC is still yet to confirm this. A Davros box-set would make sense as Destiny Of The Daleks is the only Davros story not yet to be released on DVD. So therefore the release of this episode would mean every Davros episode in existence has been released on DVD.

Lost Episodes Found?

According to the Daily Record, a wealthy gangster called Tam Mcgraw has passed away in Scotland. Tam was a Star Trek fan and a collector of every Doctor Who episode ever made. This may now lead to the discovery of Doctor Who episodes previously believed to have been lost forever. Although the extent of his collection is not yet known there is new hope for Doctor Who fans who have long awaited the release of missing episodes. If the BBC do find any missing episodes this has to be brilliant news to Doctor Who fans worldwide.

Sting Of The Zygons Review

Sting Of The Zygons starts with The Doctor and Martha arriving in the Lake District in 1909. Where the search is on for the Beast of Westormorland which has been terrorising the locals. Explorers, Naturalists, Hunters and a french man are gathering from across the country to find the beast. But when a beast is found dead upon the lakeside the people believe they've finally found the beast.However when The Doctor sets off to investigate he automatically recognises it as a Skarasen. Of course the return of the Skarasens means the return of a old foe known as the Zygons. As the tale continues we start to believe the Zygon hunters are becoming hunted. However after how desperate the Zygon was to retrieve its skarasen milk (its food supply) of Martha we realize that the Zygons are being rationed and they are hungry. The story goes on and eventually a great battle is fought against the Zygons who plan to take over the throne of England and control the world. Overall i would give this book a 8/10.

Amazon Series 3 Special Cover Revealed

Like last year Amazon.co.uk have released there own special addition box set for series 3. Last year there box was a cyberman but this years is similar to the normal box set apart from the images on the front and back. On one side of the box you can see The Master holding a sign saying "Saxon Is Your Man" and on the other side The Master is holding a sign saying "I Am The Master". Kylie For Series 5?

Could Kylie now be returning to Doctor Who for series 5? Well according to SyFy Portal Kylie Minogue, who plays Astrid in this years Doctor Who Christmas Special, has been a massive hit with the producers. Catherine Tate who starred in last years Christmas special became a big hit with the producers and landed a place in series 4 so could Kylie do the same? Kylie has expressed a desire to come back to "Doctor Who" "If they want me back, I will be there like a shot," Minogue said. A source told Britain's Daily Telegraph earlier this week that "Kylie just sizzles in her scenes. It's going to be one of the best episodes ever."

So Kylie may be landing a role in the Tardis but of course at this moment in time this is just a rumour but time will tell and Bad Wolf PR will report more on this soon.

The Doctor Books A Date To Meet Agathe Christie

Filming is currently under way for series 4 of Doctor Who featuring The Doctor (David Tennant) and Donna Noble (Catherine Tate). The start of the new series will see Donna tracking down the Time Lord during an alien emergency in modern-day London. With this filming the BBC have now released their first image of the Doctor and Donna in series 4. This can be seen below.

Also Bad Wolf PR can now reveal that in series 4 the Doctor will finally get the chance to meet Agathe Christie who will be played by Fenella Woolgar. Fenella will be joined by The Good Life actress Felicity Kendal, who will star as Lady Clemency Eddison.

"What a brilliant idea that Agatha Christie and Doctor Who should meet!," noted Matthew Prichard, Agatha Christie's grandson. "Two characters whose contribution to British entertainment is absolutely unrivalled. As far as I know my grandmother, Agatha Christie, never saw Doctor Who, but I am sure she would have been intrigued, excited and above all flattered by all this attention in 2007." Doctor Who's executive producer and head writer, Russell T Davies comments: "Visiting Agatha Christie has been on my wish-list for ages now, and for the Doctor, it's a real meeting of minds! Viewers can expect many more ambitious storylines and a whole host of guest stars in 2008." Blackadder and Notting Hill Actor Tim McInnerny will also guest star later in the series.

Racnoss Fact File

The Racnoss were an ancient race from the dark times of the universe. They were half-humanoid, half-spider in appearance, who were once an invasion force who consumed everything on the planets they conquered as they are always hungry.The Racnoss were wiped out by the Fledgling Empires including the ancestors of the Time Lords, over 4.6 billion years ago. Nearly all of the survivors of the Racnoss escaped in their ship, which earth would then form from, hibernating for billions of years. The only Racnoss that we know off who did not escape in the Racnoss ship was the Empress. She would later come to Earth in her ship (The Webstar) to use Huon particles (created by the Torchwood Institute) to reawaken to long lost Racnoss at the center of the earth. However her plan was stopped by the Doctor as the Racnoss intended on feasting on the humans. It is believed he killed all of the Racnoss by draining the Thames so the Racnoss drowned. The empress then returned to her ship to try and wipe out humanity, however thanks to orders from Mr Saxon her ship was destroyed.

Over the last 6 days we at Bad Wolf PR have been asking viewer to decide What Is Your Favourite Doctor Who Monster/Villain? The possible choices you could have gone for were Daleks/Davros, Cybermen, The Master, Sontarans and Other. After 6 days The Master got 14 votes and 45% of the overall percentage and won this weeks poll. Second was Daleks/Davros who who got 7 votes and 22%. Third was Other with 6 votes and 19%. Fourth were the Cybermen with 3 votes and 9%.Finnaly The Sontarans came last with only 1 vote and 3%. Remember to look out for the next poll which will be up later today.

Now we all the know the rumours that The Sun has started before like Freema Agyeman being axed from Doctor Who and David Tennant leaving. But for once could The Sun finally tell the truth? There latest rumour is that Davros (first appeared in the 1975 episode Genesis Of The Daleks) could be returning to Doctor Who. Davros is in fact, if you didn't all ready know, the creator of The Doctors sworn enemy The Daleks. Below is The Suns article.

If this is indeed true i can't wait as Davros is a brilliant character in Doctor Who. But as its been released in The Sun it is not true until the BBC confirm it.

Future Kind Fact File

The Future Kind are thought to be What The Human Race will become. They are a barbaric humanoid race with sharp pointed teeth and primitive language skills. These creatures were last seen in the episode Utopia in the year 100 trillion where the entire universe is coming to an end. The Future Kind are aggressive towards normal humans and they will hunt any human that they find for food. It is unclear exactly where the Future Kind originate from and whether or not they really are the Future of the Human race which they will evolve into.

Malmooth Fact File

The Malmooth are a race of human like insects who come from the planet Malcassairo. The Malmooth are all but extinct by the year 100 trillion, the last surviving member of their race is called Chantho. Chanto first appears in the episode Utopia where she has been assisting Professor Yana for 17 years but when the Professor is revealed to be The Master, Chanto threatens to kill him. Unfortunately The Master electrocutes Chanto but just before Chanto dies she shoots The Master forcing him to regenerate. Whilst talking Chanto always starts her sentence with the word "Chan" and ends with the word "Tho". She Considers it rude to not start and end sentences with them words but she was still able to do it.
